"Are you lost, Ducky?"

This artwork started with nothing more than an idea to experiment with Rain water. Rain often feels magical because it's like God sending down showers of Blessings upon us. There was no clear idea as to where I was going with this artwork, but as I doodled and played with colors, i explored the story possibility of a lost duckling and a little girl.

Long Way back Home

Guy- "Can't believe it. We're finally here."
Girl-"Wow. It's beautiful."
Guy- "Yep it is. So much history here."
Girl- "How does it feel to be back?"
Guy- "Don't know. So many good moments created here. Above everything, there was a lot of love."
Last year, I got the opportunity to go back to the place where I grew up in the Middle East. We do not live there any more and the place had completely changed from what I'd last seen close to a decade ago. Offcourse, there were remnants of the past, but it felt the same yet so distant. That moment came back to me as I started this artwork namely, Long Way Home. In this life's journey we move constantly and often reminiscing past moments can be bitter-sweet but enlightening. Sometimes, the past wouldn't have gone the way we would like but it surely did shape us to become who we are today. I was able to create this artwork trying out that new brush that I'd use recently to do the character works. God Bless you all and Have a Blessed new week.

Coffee shop Reunion

Girl- "Okay, I can give you this one. You didn't exaggerate when you said this place serves the best coffee."
Guy- "See, I knew you would like this place. Now you do know that I have good taste."
Girl- "Like I said. You're lucky this time. It's been a long time since we caught up."
Guy- "You should move to this city. Casper (the dog) misses you very much."
Girl-"Hmm... Is it Casper or is it somebody else?"
Autumn is one of my most favorite seasons as the colors just feels magical with the breeze and the leaves falling. It's amazing to see God's paintbrush go through the trees giving this season a vibrant and radiant touch. This story clubbed my love for autumn with a desire for story-telling over a reunion. Hope you all have been doing good. God Bless you all.

Drive

Husband- "How are you Hon?"
Wife- "I'm fine."
Husband-"You've been quiet. All good?"
Wife-"Yes, I'm. Just lost in the Night lights. Everything's so beautiful at night. Thanking God for his goodness."
Husband-"Yes. It's been a long day for both of us."
Wife-"Yeah. But Thanks be to God, we'll get through this just fine."
This artwork has been closely inspired from a Night Drive that Me and my wife had not too long ago. The days leading up to that moment had it's toll on us, so driving that night and seeing her smile brightened that dark space we were in. Something about that night felt special and magical within the silence of that car. It was a reminder of Christ's presence in even our most difficult moments and a constant reminder that through every painful circumstance, his light shines to fill us with joy and peace that sustain us through anything we go through. This Life is a privilege if we do not allow our circumstances to determine who we are, but rise above those circumstances to be molded into God's Masterpiece.

The Cereal Story

Mum: "Check this out Hon, I've never seen the baby finish his cereals so fast."
Dad: "Hmmm... That's odd."
Mum: "Yeah it is. He must have been rather hungry today."
Dad: "Yeah. He would have. Speaking of hungry, I better feed the Dog."
This was an idea that came to my mind, a long time back about a humorous breakfast table moment. I had several moments trying to figure out the best way to compose this shot to best deliver the story. Hope you all are doing well.

Mr. Cuddles

Coffee can wait, It's time to snuggle Mr. Cuddles.

Here's an old artwork attached with it's sketch. It took forever for me to get to this one. So many good ones that I need to get to, but with things at the home front being quite busy, will be away briefly. Inspired from a drawing that started in the subway that led to colour and mood study.
God Bless you all.

Talking to Jesus

Mum-"Hey Munchkin, who are you talking to?"
Child- "I'm talking to Jesus, Mama."
"Ok. But, Why were you giggling then?"
"Cause I was sharing a joke with him."
This artwork was inspired from 2 stories that I'd got to hear. What drew me to it, was the moment of closeness that this child shared with our Savior. We were designed to have a personal relationship with our Jesus Christ.Everything in our life stems from this beautiful relationship. We may try to pursue everything in this World, but nothing/ no-one can fill us the way, Our God fills us. This story reminded me, how much our God desires a deep and personalized relationship between us and Him and as we cling to him, we will transform more and more into His likeness. This Easter, may we be filled in the realization of What HE has already accomplished, on the Cross. The price has already been paid in Full for you and me.

Do not Worry, I'm right here.

Couple of months ago while on my way to work,I happened to see a Blind man walk into the train with his Dog. Getting seated right across from me, I noticed the Dog quietly adjusting himself down by his Master's feet while glancing at fellow commuters. This man's face was so lit with peace, having a wide smile across his face. Gently, I noticed this Man reach down to feel his furry companion but couldn't find him.The Dog noticing this quickly responded moving his head into his owner's palm. With a calm sense of assurance, the man rubbed his head lovingly and then sat back to enjoy the ride.
This was a beautiful moment that really tugged my heart strings. I couldn't help but imagine, how easily i could have been like the several others who could have easily overlooked this moment. What transpired there was so beautiful, A Companion that leads us forward through the unknown so selflessly. The Amazing service Dog.

Can I have a Carrot?

Kid 1- "Dad, dad...Can I have that carrot?"
Kid 2- "Yes, Dad. Can we have it?"
Dad- "Hmmm..."
Olaf- "It's not just a Carrot, It's my nose!!!!"

This was a funny scenario that was conceived from a moment of trying to put a new spin to Olaf. What would happen if a group of rabbits found Olaf? Ever since the release of Frozen in 2013, I was surprised by the huge fan following for this adorable snow man, so decided to use him to create a Fan Art for the upcoming Comicon 2015. Here's the first of many.

Girl in the Pink Skirt

Every day while commuting the subway, I brush past hundreds of thousands of people while making my way to work. Too many faces, more than my little mind could even think of registering. Behind each of these people lives a story- A story of triumph, A Story of Loss, A Story of Discouragement or a story of Inspiration. How amazing it is that the fabric of each of these lives were interwoven by our Amazing God for his fabulous and wondrous purpose to be accomplished on earth. We were not a design flaw but a perfection in the image of God. May we smile to radiate his love through us into others. This was a drawing from the subway of a young girl in a Pink Skirt.

Turtle Man

This was another Anthropomorphic study of a Turtle on his way to work. Have a blessed day.
